Some abilities have multiple levels. This means that the ability can be upgraded into a better version. Upgrading often includes crafting or smelting. All of the better versions of the ability will be similar to the original ability. An example is leap and triple leap. Leap upgrades to triple leap, which is the same as leap but lets you jump 3 times in a row, even mid-air. Sometimes normal custom items can be turned into abilities, such as the one time use fireball upgrading to the fireball ability.
